Taken in TV3, Sri Pentas and we were invited to be guest singers for the carnival that day. It was a one day event and each of us had our own selection of music. As for me, I sang "Tujuh Nafas Lagi" one of the Malay song that i sang for the Mystarz competition. That was also a pig out day where I ate a lot of kuih raya and rendang... other well know local artist came as well to perform their songs..... fun but hot..

It was not only a carnival but also a reunion for us to meet the crew members of the LGMystarz competition. We had so much fun and a lot of cathing up to do. I hope there will be a reunion concert again for all the MyStarz finalist to catch up and and see what they have done. I sorta support for each other as well.

Life goes on, no giving up and still surviving earning a living. Music industry in Malaysia is different from the rest of the world. I will strive to be the best and to learn the industry and be willing to be exposed as much as possible with whatever is going on.

Lg open house

LG open house, saya dengan ijam,badri,tasha,russel,mimi dan afif yang lain tidak sempat datang atas sebab masalah2 yang di hadapi... pada hari itu saya juga menyanyi kan lagu bahasa cina yang bertajuk gai bu gai ( should i ), i was very happy wif my friends, happening lar time tu.. farhin abdul fatar turut hadir untuk memeriahkan lagi Lg open house, i miss all of them,

saya menerima hadiah daripada mr tan, ramai yang hadir pada malam tu, makanan yang disediakan pun sedap2 belaka... hehehehehe, kalau boleh harap2 lg akan adakan lagi jamuan sebegini.

Saya sedang menyanyikan lagu cina, yang bertajuk gai gu gai ( should i ) yang dipopularkan oleh Jacky Cheung. One of my favorite songs, Learning the song was a chanllenge because i am not a chinese speaking person but once i got the hang of it. Everything came to place. With the help of my Chinese friends, I want to thank them all for helping me in the right pronounciation.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank to all my friends who always supported me, sangat bertuah kerana dapat kawan seperti mereka.. saya masih ingat lagi apabila mereka cakap dengan saya, andy you can do it.. don't give up... walaupun banyak kali saya gagal tetapi mereka still bagi nasihat dan dorongan kepada saya.

Without them i would not be able to do it nor make it to where i am now.

Performace at Istana budaya

Hanya 2 hari lagi untuk saya menghafal lagu P. Ramli bertajuk "Burung Kenari". Sangat lucu waktu rehearsal malangnya semua video yang telah ku rakamkan tidak boleh di downloadkan. Saya tidak menyangka perkara ini akan menjadi kenyataan kepada saya. Tapi nasib baik lar ada kawan2 membantu saya, sebab lagu ini pertama kali saya dengar dan pertama kali saya nyanyi.

P. Ramli's songs are very meaningful and simple. Moreover it relates to a lot of the older generation as they appreciate it more. I made it a point to learn more of P. Ramli's songs and various other musicians from the yesteryears. We never know, maybe someday i am required to sing songs like this for private functions.

Show night, i was not aware on the amount of people that were comming, but when i went on stage, it was a full house. Every seats were taken, VIP boots were filled with important people from the cabinat and Royal families. It was a night to remember. I would like to say a nightmare as i was not so confident with the song. but confident or not as a musician the show must go on. This is something that i always thought would happen tosomeone who already has a name in the industy. Nevertheless, i was given the opportunity of a lifetime and i did my part in it. I sang my song well with claps and people singing along to my song as well. Although i made some minor mistakes with the lyrics but no one cared, they just enjoyed it.

I will never forget that night. Hahaha, i lost myself on stage and sang with all my heart. Before that i cant memorize the lyrics and the melody, i was worried of a black out. But when i went on stage i felt as thou my body was overtaken and i was another person. I just did my thing and many who heard me trying hard to memorize the songs were very proud that i made it through amazingly. I prayed and thanked God it worked out well for me and then the audiances claped their hands.

A lesson to be learned. Next time i will always be ready and make sure everything is well prepared.

Tengah menyanyikan lagu You raise me up. I was totally out that time, don't know why, maybe the song never suit to me. I can't sing well and in my mind just thinking of losing. Tapi yang berlalu biar lar berlalu, never give up. Soon will release my single album. Hope you guys can support me.

Hehe, waktu tu tengah tengok juri, cuba tak nak tengok but still tengok juga!!

Finalis Mystarz Lg

Finalis Mystarz Lg, sempat beramah mesra dengan wartawan. Di gambar kelihatan di sebelah kiri sekali ialah Awang (KK), Badri (Kedah), Tasha(KL), Emeer(Pahang), Nina(KL), Mimie(Pahang), Russel(KL), dan di bawah pula kelihtan Andy(KK) saya sendiri, Ijam(Sarawak) dan Afif(KL).

Dalam akbar tersebut kami berada dalam Top 24, Kami dalam debaran menunggu keputusan dari pihak juri untuk menggumumkan siapa yang berada dalam Top 12. Kesemua peserta hebat-hebat belaka, hanya nasib menyebelahi kami.

Akbar Cina yang juga mempromosikan dan menyokong program ini.

Tidak dinafikan semua peserta hendak menang RM 100,000 ringgit, jumlarnya adalah sangat besar bagi kami. Tetapi bagi saya jumpa lar tu adalah tidak penting, yang penting adalar pengalaman dan ilmu yang saya akan dapat sewaktu berada dalam mystarzlg nie. Menang atau kalah adalah belakang cerita.

I am Andy Adrian J and i love to sing. This is my story of a journey that i want to share.

I have always known that i could sing since young but growing up in k.k during those days the industry was difficult when i was in k.k. as i grew older, i slowly ventured into singing professionaly may it be in karaoke clubs but either then my day job, I took a partime singing job 7 days a week for band in BB Cafe, kota kinabalu.

Feeling tired everyday after work in an events company, but because i love singing so much, i made an effort and initiative to sing at night everyday for 4 hours entertaining the pub guest from all over the world.

Then...

My job merosot when the owner could not pay my salary for months and commission as promised were never payed. Finally i resigned and sang full time. Unfortunately that did not walk out as weel, when the manager of the band never payed me ontime and again i was under payed.

I therefore took the risk under the advise of all my friends to come and try it out in kl. And this is way my story begin.........

CHILL & FELL THE LOCAL ARTIST & SONG

saya bersama dengan beberapa artis daripada sabah iaitu Clarice dan Kay Ibrahim. Kami telah mengadakan show sempena pembukaan Kompleks asia city. Pada waktu itu, suasana memang meriah dan kebanyakan yang hadir adalah golongan ibubapa dan kanak- kanak. Saya masih ingat lagi apa yang berlaku pada hari itu, saya terpaksa menyanyi walaupun suara saya kurang baik dan serak - serak basah.. hehehehe.

Pelbagai acara yang dibuat sepanjang show ini, kami juga diberi tahu untuk memperkenalkan setiap kedai - kedai yang terdapat dalam kompleks ini bagi kemudahan kepada mereka yang datang ke kompleks ini. Banyak kesilapan yang telah saya lakukan sepanjang show ini, dari sini saya dapat mempelajari kesilapan yang telah saya lakukan. Clarice dan Kay banyak membantu saya jika saya tersasul kah, lupa apa yang hendak dicakap kah dan banyak lagi.

Saya berterima kasih kepada mereka berdua, tanpa diorang siapala saya..hehehehe. Pada waktu itu, saya menyanyikan empat buah lagu iaitu Hello, Follow me, Angel dan Pencinta Wanita. Nasib baik lar semuanya berjalan dengan lancar dan baik.

Saya juga ingin berterima kasih dengan kawan saya Adrian, kerana dia banyak membantu saya. Walaupun show ini hanya kecil - kecilan, tetapi daripada show nielar saya dapat menambah pengalaman dan terus minat menyanyi hingga lar ke hari ini.
